Micheal Edward Novogratz was a former fund manager of the investment firm Fortress Investment Group, and he was born on November 26, 1964. He was categorized as a billionaire in 2007 and 2008 by Forbes.
Micheal was a Partner at Goldman Sachs, where he spent a lot of time working abroad before he joined Fortress.
Micheal became a graduate of Princeton University in 1987, where he was a standing member of the wrestling team. He also served in the army after he left college.
Micheal was raised and brought up in Alexandria, and he schooled at Hunt High school. He received his A.B in economics.
After spending a while in the New Jersey National Guard, he started his journey at Goldman Sachs in 1989, and afterward, he joined the firm as a salesman in April 1989.
In March 2000, Micheal joined Fortress investment in taking the company public its first public offering. During the IPO, the company sold 8% shares for the public at the rate of $600 million.
